Who else misses the corporate life? Not me!

I absolutely love the freedom and flexibility of running my own business, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. But I do miss some of the perks that come with working for a large company—like private healthcare, wellbeing support, and if I’m being honest, a consistent salary.

As a business owner, YOU really are your company’s most valuable asset, yet when you’re working for yourself these support structures simply don’t exist – at a time when they’re probably most needed!

I’m Amy Huskisson, founder of AV Wellbeing. I created the AV Well.HUB to help fill that gap in support that exists for many women when they step off the corporate ladder. My aim is to provide self-employed women and female founders with high-quality, corporate-level wellbeing services at a price that won’t break the bank.

You’ll get access to private GP appointments, counselling sessions, and expert workshops on subjects ranging from menopause to mindfulness, plus a huge range of other resources including CBT structured worksheets to help with sleep, advice on dealing with anxiety, and healthy recipes from HelloFresh.

Because why should running your own business mean you’re doing everything on your own?

Is this the business subscription you can’t afford to be without?

As a business owner you’ll be used to seeing an array of “essential” subscriptions coming out of your bank each month – accounting software, Office 365, Canva… the list is endless…

But how many of them are ensuring the continued running of your biggest asset – YOU?

Joining AV WELL.HUB will cost you less than the price of a cup of coffee each day. Broken down, it’s the equivalent of £54 per month, £12 per week or just £1.78 per day. You can pay in either three monthly instalments or one annual instalment.

Most of the money from memberships will go straight back into the hub. I’ll be using it to pay for more and more services and guest experts – meaning the resources available will be constantly increasing. However, for those that join this month as founding members there will be no future price rises. The price you pay now will be the price you always pay.

“The HUB is something really special…self-employed folks tend to miss out on the employee benefits of larger organisations and what Amy has created is going to help so many people.”

A supportive community for hard-working women just like you

Looking after ourselves is essential for our businesses to survive and thrive, yet it so often falls to the bottom of the list. I created AV Well.HUB because I’m passionate about changing this. We need to stop seeing making time for ourselves as selfish and view it for what it actually is – business critical.

Being part of AV Well.HUB not only gives you instant access to a wide range of health resources, it provides you with a community of fellow female business owners to help provide support and inspiration, and keep each other accountable. Committing to taking positive action to look after yourself is so much easier when you’re surrounded by a group of like-minded people doing the same and cheering you on.

Ask us a question

How does the membership work?

Our doors open in October, January, and April.

There is an exclusive initial joining fee for October 2024 enrolment:

  • Annual Membership: £650 – which you can pay in one lump sum or in three instalments.
  • This is a lifetime offer for our early adopters! In 15 years’ time, if you are still part of our huge global network, we won’t hike the price 🤩

Can I connect with other self-employed women through AV Well.HUB?

Absolutely! One of the core benefits of AV Well.HUB is the community of like-minded women you’ll join. You can network, share experiences, get guidance, and support each other. It’s a space where business owners come together for mutual growth and well-being.

Can this be claimed back as a business expense?

From my discussions with an accountant, this can be classed as a business expense, as it is a subscription that includes training, support and networking. However, I would highly recommend you speak with your accountant to ensure you categorise it correctly dependent on whether you are a limited company or sole trader.

Why is it only for women?

As female founders we’re all working hard on our business but spinning many other plates as well – whether that’s parenting, caring, or just managing the curveballs of life. I wanted to create a space that’s unique to us, where we can share those trials and tribulations, and where I can ensure all the information is super-relevant for those in the community.

The community is open to anyone who identifies as a woman.

Who is the brains behind AV Well.HUB?

I’m Amy Huskisson, the founder of AV Wellbeing, a company that provides wellbeing support and training to companies and individuals across the UK. A trained psychologist, I spent almost 15 years working in front-line mental health services before leaving to set up my business.

She struggled with her own gut health for many years, with over-the-counter medicines failing to provide any relief, so decided to take matters into her own hands, completing a three-year diploma in Nutritional Therapy.

She now works with people struggling with their own gut health, hormonal imbalances and chronic disease, taking a full-body approach to their health.

She delivers our Cultivating a Healthy Gut for Good Mental Health programme.
